David W. Garrison, Chief Executive Officer
David Garrison joined iBAHN in October 2002 and brings 20 years of experience in leading telecommunications and technology services companies in the wireless and Internet industries. David has served as chairman and CEO of Netcom, a pioneering Internet service provider. At Netcom, he successfully led NASDAQ financings, using proceeds to expand geographically within the US to build one of the first Internet networks, and expanded the company internationally to create the top-rated Internet company in the U.K. and Canada. Currently, he is an independent director of SonicWALL, a leading company in providing security solutions to small and medium enterprise customers worldwide. Additionally, David has served as independent director on more than a half-dozen boards of private and public companies, including election to chair the independent directors committee at Ameritrade.
David Roshak, Chief Financial Officer
David Roshak joined iBAHN in November 2008, bringing eighteen years of experience in finance, accounting and business operations, most of which has been spent in various areas of the IT industry. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Insight Enterprises, a global technology solutions company serving more than 80% of the Global Fortune 500 in 170+ countries. From 2002 until 2006, David served as chief financial officer for Level 3 Communications (Information Services Division), where he had responsibility for strategy formulation and execution, along with duties including the management of the division’s financial operations. David earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and is a certified public accountant.
Steven Morris, CEO ETV Interactive, an iBAHN company
Steven Morris joined iBAHN in August 2007 as president of its ETV Interactive business, a leading digital information & entertainment provider. He was the founder and chief executive officer of ETV Interactive prior to its sale to iBAHN, and brings more than ten years of experience in creating and providing technology solutions to the hospitality industry. From 1997 through 2007, Steven led ETV Interactive through every stage – from start-up to strategy and vision to funding to expansion from its UK base throughout Europe, India, East Asia and Australasia. Also during this time, he secured international video on demand programming contracts, and led a team that designed and developed innovative software products. Prior to forming ETV Interactive, Steven served with several internationally recognized certification bodies, providing independent certification to medium and large organizations across multiple industries. Morris is an IRCA lead Auditor, and a member of the Institute of QA.
Tom Duke, Chief Technology Officer
Tom Duke joined iBAHN as its Chief Technology Officer in May 2008. Prior to his new role at the company, Tom served as chief technology officer for nearly five years at Memex Technology, where he was instrumental in the development and delivery of real time data management tools. Additional experience includes serving as director of engineering at Sopheon (formerly Orbital), and several years in consultative roles at Andersen Consulting. Following stints as Eastbourne College and Cambridge University, Tom earned a B.Eng. with honors in mechanical engineering.
Graeme Powell, Managing Director - EMEA
Graeme Powell joined iBAHN in March 2000. Prior to joining iBAHN, Graeme worked for Nomura’s Principal Group for a year and previously from February 1993 until April 1999 for Thorn in a variety of positions including four years with Quadriga (Thorn’s supplier of in-room technology to the hospitality industry) most recently as Financial Controller. In addition, Graeme trained as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and worked for them from September 1986 until January 1993. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for both Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) and International Hotel Investment Forum (IHF). Graeme holds a BSc. (Econ) from the London school of Economics and Political Science and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Allan Smith, Managing Director, Asia/Pacific Region
Allan Smith joined the company in April 2008 as its managing director for its Asia/Pacific business unit based in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining iBAHN, Allan served at MagiNet as vice president, southern region operations and global business development of convergence, where he spent 12 years. During his tenure at MagiNet, he served in a broad range of capacities in locations spanning Southern Africa, South Pacific and the United States. Allan’s responsibilities included managing the region’s business operations, including the implementation of the company’s global business development and convergence business unit. Additionally, he served as president at Nomadix from 2006 until 2008. Allan earned an engineering degree from Witbank Engineering College in South Africa, and holds a graduate degree in management from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Matt Mitchell, Managing Director, Global Accounts
Joining iBAHN in 2008, Matt Mitchell brings more than twenty years of experience in the broadband, telecommunications and hospitality industries. He has broad range of business experience, ranging from responsibility for global sales management to operations. For the eight years prior to joining the company, Matt served at inter-touch, a provider of broadband Internet services in several global markets in roles including executive vice president, sales; chief operating officer, and vice president of global sales and marketing. Additionally, he was closely involved in the sale of the company to NT DoCoMo in 2004. Matt spent four years at 3Com in its Australia and Hong Kong offices, where he was successful in establishing the company’s customer service organization in building a direct sales force focused on large government and corporate customers. Matt attended MacQuarie University, where he participated in the Macquarie Advanced Management Program, as well as its Marketing Management Program.
